Recap

We're back from our multi-faceted vacation to Seattle/Chicago/Disney World and beyond. We survived the wedding, the invasion of the Garden State to Disney World, and we even missed the floods that were happening at home while we were out.
Our cat is fine. He seems extra snuggly and we found out he has a fear of wind and we think he's happy to see us. I will refrain from saying anything else about him, as I watched an NBC special on bloggers and how annoying it is when they talk about how cute their cats are. I guess I'll try to be more snarky and charming and witty than that...
To be succinct, here are some highlights:
-trick or treating with my 3 year old cousin, "Ghostie"
-having our very own wing at the Oaks Hotel during remodeling
-my sister-in-law closing and locking the connecting room door and then realizing she'd also put the deadbolt and the latch on the front door of her room
-my husband's wonderful best man speech ("My mother always said if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all." Yes, he really said that at his own brother's wedding! But he did say more...after a perfect awkward pause)
-JOHN AND AMY!
-seeing Benson and Veronica
-Greek food with my cousins
-glimpsing the dark underbelly of Disney World
-dining with Susan Lucci
-EPCOT Food and Wine Festival
-being caught unaware for a 0-60 MPH acceleration in 2.8 seconds
-the photo that captured us unaware for the 0-60 MPH acceleration
-fantastic Italian food and jazz with Ann and Michael
-being the only one to sing along with the Irish band
-just missing the severe weather on Snoqualmie Pass on the way home
That's all for now. Once I fully digest the Disney experience, there will be more. Oh yes, there will be more.
