Grammar-licious
I recently listened to the audio version of the book, Eats, Shoots and Leaves by Lynne Truss. I think I need to a) read more of her books and b) become her. Or at least channel her, since it seems she observes and comments comically upon many of the same things I relish (or am annoyed by) in life. Just to bring her down from deity level for me, though, I found this link: http://www.newyorker.com/critics/books/?040628crbo_books1 which points out all of the things Truss did wrong in her book. I couldn't help but think that the author of this review sounded like the kind of guy who might enjoy moonlighting as a meter-maid (meter man?) or is the type to order a Venti, half soy/half skinny, quarter-caf, quadruple shot, two pump Splenda, extra hot Americano and then gets irritated when the worn out barista uses all soy. Sounds like he'd be a fun office mate.
